Decatur Square Condos are on Church Street in Decatur, GA. They are located next to Decatur’s Glenn Lake Park with pool, tennis courts and playground. The park is 17 acres and backs up to Decatur Square Condos. The Tudor style condos were built in 1968 and 1969. It's in a great neighborhood and walking distance to downtown Decatur.

Building 1175 has 2 story townhomes that overlook the courtyard and the pool. They are 1064 square feet.
Building 1177 and 1227 have 4 units each of level living with 3 bedrooms. They are 1215 square feet.
Buildings 1179, 1181, 1227, 1229 and 1231 are 2 bedroom 1 level units with 936 square feet.
Building 1225 has 1 bedroom units that are 648 square feet.

As of July 2009, condos at Decatur Square range in price from $109,000 to $159,000. Affordable onsite storage is available for $120 a year.

There are 2 onsite pools. There is a laundry room, although most of the units have washer dryer hookups. They all have balconies or patios.

Homeowner Association fees run from $175 to $233 depending on the size of the unit. HOA dues include water, sewer, pest control, termite bond, exterior maintenance and the pools. Decatur Square has a strong HOA. The exterior of the buildings have recently been painted and new roofs were installed this year without any assessments to the residents.

Schools for Decatur Square include sought after City of Decatur’s Glennwood Elementary, Renfroe Middle and Decatur High School.

Lullwater Park Luxury Townhomes in Atlanta GA - The Residences at Lullwater Park are fee simple luxury townhomes ranging from 3 bedrooms with 3.5 baths to 4 bedrooms with 4.5 baths. Lullwater Park is a gated community in Atlanta GA built in 2008. Homes currently listed range in price from $479,900 to $749,900. The 4 sided brick homes are beautiful with hardwood floors and elegant trim work. All have 2 car garages. Lullwater Park in Atlanta, GA is conveniently located in town between Virginia Highlands and Druid Hills. HOA dues are $250 a month and cover exterior maintenance and water/sewer.

I visited Lullwater Park the other day. Come along with me as I describe this home currently listed at $749,900. As you enter the home you go up a few steps to the kitchen level. There's a formal dining room with rear balcony and a powder room. The gourmet kitchen with granite counters and Viking appliances separates the dining room from the family room with coffered ceiling and fireplace.

Go upstairs one level to the huge Master suite with sitting room and spa like bathroom. The huge walk in closet should be roomy enough for everything. The laundry is on this level as well as another bedroom with its own private full bath.

Go on up the hardwood stairs to the next level and you'll find another room with full bath that could be used as a bedroom or a media room. The other half of the upstairs has a wet bar and a room that would be ideal for a pool table or additional entertaining area. Off of this room is a fabulous rooftop terrace with ceiling fans and stone tiled floor. I think this would be the place I would always want to be.

The lower level has a 2 car garage and another room with full bath that could be used as an office, bedroom or fitness room. This home at Lullwater Park has 4 levels of fabulous space with an elevator.

To get to Lullwater Park, from I-75 North take Exit 248-C, Freedom Parkway to right on Ponce de Leon Ave going East. Turn left at Briarcliff Rd across from Moreland Ave. Follow Briarcliff Rd and the residences at Lullwater Park will be on the right about 1/3 of a mile. The address is 855 Briarcliff Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30306.

Not to confuse anyone: There is another townhome community in the area called Lullwater Parc with "c" instead of a "k". Those brick townhomes were built around 1970 and range in price from around $220,000 to $280,000. They are located on Ponce de Leon Ave in Atlanta, GA.

Edmund Park in Atlanta GA was built by Hedgewood, an Earthcraft builder. Edmund Park is a community of 86 homes, mostly 4 bedroom homes, with some 3 & 5 bedrooms. They have anywhere from 1 to 3 car garages. Homes have stone and brick accents, Hardiplank siding and craftsman detailing. Edmund Park has 2 story homes some with basements and some on concrete slab. Homes are close together and the yards are small and built for low maintenance which is what we expect with in-town living. Homes were built between 1998 and 2004.

Homes currently on the market in Edmund Park range in price from a low of $490K for a 3 bedroom/2.5 bath built in 1998 on Kimberly Lane to $699K for a 4 bedroom/4.5 bath home on Edmund Park Dr. built in 2000 with a second kitchen on the terrace level.

Edmund Park is located in unincorporated Dekalb County in the sought after Morningside district of Atlanta. Home Buyers and Sellers in Dekalb County must be aware of Dekalb County's Plumbing Ordinance.

To get to Edmund Park going east from Ponce de Leon in the Virginia Highlands Neighborhood, take a left on Briarcliff Rd. Turn left on North Decatur Rd and make a right on E. Rock Springs Rd. Edmund Park is on your right. Edmund Park includes homes on Edmund Ct. NE, Edmund Park Dr. NE, Kimberly Lane NE, Markan Dr. NE, Rock Springs Circle NE and E. Rock Springs Rd NE.

Students at Edmund Park attend Briar Vista Elementary, Shamrock Middle and Druid Hills High School which are all Dekalb County GA schools. Edmund Park is also convenient to Emory University.

Nearby Virginia Highlands bars include Limerick Junction, the Dark Horse, Neighbors, Moe’s and Joes and Taco Mac. Fernbank Museum of Natural History is less than 2 miles and the Fabulous Fox Theatre is less than 3 miles away from Edmund Park.
