Free Breakfast at Ikea Friday through Sunday

Ikea is serving up breakfast for free this Friday February 13th through Sunday February 15, 2009.  The restaurant opens at 9:30 a.m and free breakfast will be served until 10:30 a.m.  The offer includes 1 small breakfast and one cup of coffee per person.  Ikea is located at Atlantic Station at 441 16th Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30363.  If you haven't shopped at IKEA before, then this will be an experience for you.  They have all kinds of household items for reasonable prices.   Personally, I like the square shaped glass vase that I got there for 3 or 4 dollars.

Atlantic Station is a live work play community in Atlanta.  As of right now, there are some deals on condos ranging in price from $159,900 to $539,420. Single family homes range from $399,900 to $1,599,000.

The Element will be auctioning off all of their remaining condos on Feb. 28th - 1/1's will start at $95,000. - Unfortunately Art Foundry's HOA has filed a number of lawsuits - so it's best to investigate what is happening there.

Jen sounds like a deal that you can not pass up. Free breakfast and great shopping is a good combination in my book.  I wonder if all the Ikea stores are doing this???

Michael, I heard about the upcoming auction.  It will be interesting to see how that works out. I think it's important to check out any HOA before purchasing.

Randall, you can always check IKEA out online. Years ago, my husband had a roommate that drove from Atlanta to an IKEA in the Washington DC area to get a bed. (That was before there was a store here.) We both thought that was a little nuts. :)

George, All of the IKEA stores are participating except Hicksville, Houston, Pittsburgh and IKEA Direct.

Thank you all for your responses.

I love IKEA but I have never been to one of their breakfasts although I have seen them advertised. Maybe it's because I'm still not much of a breakfaster person even in my old age.

I went to the IKEA grand opening breakfast here many years ago. Quite a lot of fun.
