We went down to Tampa for the Superbowl this weekend. The ticket prices were out of our league, even the resellers were asking $1,200 a ticket, but that was OK. We didn't mind not getting into the game, we had a great time anyway just being in the area. On Saturday we went to the NFL Experience, affordable at just $18.50 a ticket. It was packed with activities, games and celebrities signing autographs and doing interviews. It was fun even for those that don't know much about football, like me!

Jen, it looks like you guys really had a great time there in Tampa!
Jen, how exciting. I used to live in Tampa and love the Raymond James Stadium. Hope you had great time. ~Rita
Hi Jen,
Looks like you had a great time in Tampa. Tell me, does your husband have shoulder pads and all in that photo? Guess he's (or maybe you both) are real fans.
Jen - looks like an awesome time - glad to see you back blogging
Thanks everyone for your comments! It really was fun!
Lynda, my husband is standing in the form of the player. That is just his head! The NFL Experience had every team with a display like that where the fans could "get in the uniform" and take photos. My husband is a big fan of the Steelers, I'm just a big fan of my husband!
Jen for $1,200 you can buy a great big screen TV set and sit in the best seat that there is :)
Jen, those are some great photos and it looks as though you had a great time. I do hope you got to enjoy the game somewhere on a nice TV. My husband went to a guys night out party and I got to enjoy some quality time with my house. I truly love your comment about just being a big fan of your husband... that's fantastic.
I went to the NFL Experience out here many years ago. I think it was Green Bay and Denver playing. It was a lot of fun at $15 a ticket then.
