Want to do something different? Check out Ghost Tours in Decatur, GA. It's an easy 1 mile walk that takes about 2 hours and leaves from the Bandstand in downtown Decatur. It goes to the old train depot and through the Historic Decatur Cemetary.
I haven't been yet, but one of my friends went on the Ghost Tour recently and said it was awesome! Hmmm, will this change my mind about walking through the old cemetary, as so many people do for their workouts?
The Tour begins at the Bandstand in Decatur Square. They start at 7 p.m. and the days vary, right now they are mostly Friday and Saturday nights. See the schedule on www.DecaturGhostTours.com.
The picture below is one my friend sent me. She said the white dots are orbs or spirits hanging around the cemetary.

Decatur GA is a great place to live. Could it be that the spirits don't want to leave either?

Jen this sounds like it could be a lot of fun to do around Halloween!
I've never heard of a Ghost tour. Sounds kind of spooky to me! I think I would rather do the other fun stuff on your list!
Bill, I think so too. I heard about it around Halloween but didn't get a chance to post it. Then I found out that it's an ongoing thing.
Janna, I think it's kind of spooky, but could be fun too. I'm not sure that I really want to know if there's ghosts hanging out, although I think they would be friendly. :) I think my teenage nieces and nephews would love it.
Jen I think I would skip that tour. Me and people that I can see through don't do to well :) :) :)
George, I almost hope I wouldn't see a ghost. I think that would freak me out a little. :) I like the idea of hearing the history of Decatur though.
My other half loves ghost tours. He can't get enough of them. Happy Holidays!
Hi Jim, If you and Russel ever get to Atlanta, we'll have to check it out! Happy Holidays to you too!
