Decatur Organic Farmers Market

Looking for great organic locally grown food? Decatur's Organic Farmers Market is the place. It has fresh produce, flowers,(even pretty edible ones, like nasturtium) and other organic food products such as bread, jam, eggs and sauces.

The market supports local farmers by offering them an in town location to sell their products.  It's open on Wednesdays from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the summer and 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the winter.

163 Clairemont Avenue Decatur, Georgia 30030. It's on the corner of Commerce Ave and Church Street.

Hi George, Yes, this open air market is only open on Wednesdays. There is the Dekalb Farmers Market which is a fabulous huge international market down the road which is open 7 days.

OK, Jen, what's the "organic" picture there? Is it something edible?

Hi Laura, That's just a picture of lavender from my organic garden. I use the lavender in mesh (little holes, not big ones) zippered bags in my dryer to naturally scent my sheets.  I've been told I could use the lavender in tea, but haven't tried that yet.
