Jen we are having our Fireworks here in Middletown Connecticut on a day other than the 4th of July, we are having ours on Thursday the 2nd. It seems that if we hold it on the 4th, or even Friday the 3rd that the City would have to pay overtime to City Workers that would have to work the event, and the Mayor doesn't want to pay it.
Jen, I hope you had a wonderful 4th. We didn't hear as many fireworks as normal which was a good thing since we are so incredibly DRY.
