Right now there are 5,467 single family homes on the market in all of Dekalb County GA ranging in price from a high of $5,837,400 all the way down to a low list price of $9,000.
In March, 386 homes sold. At that rate, it will take about 61 weeks, yes more than a year for all the homes in Dekalb County to sell if nothing else comes on the market. This isn't doom and gloom, this is opportunity knocking.
These numbers are proof that it's a buyers market now. So, if you ever considered investing in real estate, now is a great time to be an investor. George, Dekalb County is pretty huge, it's over 268 square miles and the population is over 690,000 people and growing.
